Yup < 10 seconds doubtful, but possible? Like Building K2 in under 25 hours? Bill K9YEQ

Example: While hiking, you see your next destination on a slight rise, graced by a tree just tall enough to afford some shade. You perceive a rapid dropoff in the direction of DX. It's ~40 seconds away, but it only takes ~20 seconds to get the KH1 out of your pocket, attach the whip, unwrap the counterpoise wire, open the log tray, flip the paddle to the operate position, and turn on power. Net deployment time: -10 seconds. You might even make your first QSO before you get there. 73, Wayne N6KR > On Oct 1, 2024, at 9:24 PM, Bill Johnson <[email protected]> wrote: > > John. > Loved your email.
