Good Evening,
It is the rainy season. Occasionally there are pauses, but mostly
it rains, showers and drizzles, with plenty of fog. Day dawns as the
sky turns a deep shade of gray. By noon it is slightly less dark.
Afternoon has gray turning to black. There are many writers in Western
Oregon, the weather gives them long periods where the only sounds are
rain and wind. There is also the gloom factor; August Derleth would
have liked it.
There will be no nets this week due to the Sweepstakes contesting.
The bands got hammered by the sun but will benefit from the extra ions
once this storm abates. Remember the time change tonight. My body
won't switch rapidly though the clocks will. ECN will return to both
bands on November 10th.
