Hello Gary.
I recently acquired a KPA500 amp and the KAT500 tuner and I'm wanting to
rack mount them. Unfortunately, I can't find any brackets or any way to
mount them in the cabinet. Anyone have any ideas or know where I can find
some brackets for mounting? One place in CA used to sell a mounting kit but
don't any longer. Any help would be appreciated.
My QRZ page shows a short rack system that I assembled several years
ago. It contains a K3S + P3 combo and a KPA1500. Not shown is what you
need for the KPA500 + KAT500 setup. I have such a system in my
collection of Elecraft equipment.
The rack panels were obtained from SNS Engineering:

You can mount the tuner above or below the amp. It makes a tidy system
that I use for portable operations. The panels are a bit expensive, but
they are very durable and attractive. (SNS has done the metal work for
some Elecraft products in addition to these external products.)
