I have a KX2 80m to 10m transceiver (S/N 01563) used entirely indoors. Purchased new from Elecraft as a “kit". Non-Smoking Hamshack. Only used indoors. Great for POTA/SOTA and portable Operations. 12W output with 12VDC in. Latest firmware installed. It includes Elecraft ATU and after market end plates/handles with heat sink. Latest firmware and Elecraft modifications. Also detachable key pad, dust cover, plexiglass stand for desktop use and Elecraft hand mike. All manuals included.
There is internal space for a 4XAA rechargable battery holder which I didn't get preferring an external power source. This battery holder is available from Elecraft. Also available is an internal rechargeable battery pack and internal charger (new products). Originally you had to open the unit and remove the batteries for replacement or recharge.The internal charger requires only the normal 12-14VDC power. Again, this option is not included.
