On Sunday, August 16th, the NJQRP Club will hold the 15th Annual NJQRP Skeeter Hunt.
Tomorrow, June 21st is the official First Day of Summer, which will open the roster for this year. Acquiring a Skeet number is easy. Just send an email to [email protected] where YOU MUST INCLUDE your call sign, first name and the state or province or country that you will be operating from. Requests for numbers will be honored as of 12:00 Midnight EDT tonight. You will receive a reply email with your number for 2026. Numbers are not assigned for life, so even if you have participated before, you will need to request a new number for 2026. Skeeter number requests will only be honored via email. Social media requests will not be honored. The rules can be found by going to w2lj.blogspot.com and by selecting the Skeeter Hunt page tab. The qsl.net webpage will not be updated. Please remember that this a CW and/or SSB Sprint only. Please, no entries with contacts made via the digital modes. Also, the Skeeter Hunt and the Flight of the Bumblebees are two separate events, from two different sponsors. You will need to apply for numbers for each event seperately.
