The XG3 puts out a stable carrier from 160-2 meters at four amplitudes: -107 dBm (great for receiver sensitivity testing), -73 dBm (S9 on most radios), -33 dBm, and 0 dBm. Frequencies come pre-programmed on each of its 12 bands, but you can use our standard USB adapter cable to change frequencies as needed. Powered by a 9 V battery or an external supply, the XG3 includes many features including CW and RTTY beacon modes. It's just 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.8" so it fits in a shirt pocket. The T1 ATU uses the same ultra-compact enclosure as the XG3. It's the perfect ATU for 160-6 m QRP rigs that don't have one, internally, operating down to as little as 1/2 watt. Metering functions include SWR and power, and you can bypass the L-network easily for use with dummy loads and tuned antennas. Includes 8 network tuning memories on each band, tunes quickly, and handles up to 20 W. The T1 uses latching relays so its 9 V battery rarely needs to be changed.
