I just got home and need to get chores done before work tomorrow
morning. I'll write the net report tomorrow evening.
I was surprised at good reports from my low antenna. The most interesting
contact was Beaverton though :) The folks at the picnic mostly did not
understand but a few did: I had worked a local station on 20 meters!
Then, later, I worked him again on 40 meters. Very odd for a G5RV only
ten feet off the ground at the ends and about 40 feet high at the center.
One end was truncated since I had run out of trees. It was wrapped around
the tree and tied off toward the middle. I will NOT attempt modeling this
setup! But, it worked for 13 QNI for both nets.
