I use a 1450....actually 2 of them....
Originally I had hoped to have thew K2 face out the front,.,,, can't
be done , the radio must sit sideways,,,, otherwise there is not
enough protection ... AND THE SCREW FROM THE VENT WILL WACK THE TUNING KNOB
The set sits upside down , and the bail is the way to remove it and
set it back into the case,.,,,
I have ended up with two 1 for the k2 1 for the ec2 ka/kt100....
in the lid area I have enough wire/ antenna as well as a kyocera
Iridium satellite telephone solar panel & don brown controller,,,,
a palm paddle & 20 amp ssbcw only 12 vdc supply ,,
(in case I use the second case with the ka/kt100)....
i'll try to get some pix on line...
