Hi gang. I am trying to simulate what happens, if a CW transceiver is used to generate BPSK31 signal. I modified my PocketDigi software to generate BPSK31 signal with arbitrary envelope, not only the raised cosine. The impact on spectral purity and other side receive quality may be measured.
I am trying to figure out what CW shaping is used by different QRP transceivers for my simulation. I tried to simulate the CW envelope of KX1 by LTspice. Dot is sent 31.25 times per second, which is PSK31 speed. http://www.kufr.cz/~ok1iak/temp/KX1_CW_envelope.jpg Is my simulation correct, or is the KX1 CW shaping circuit more complex and I missed something?
