Starting with your own K2, why not warm up the PC and do a bit of programming, then get the bits and roll your own. The K2 is an ideal experimental platform, with plenty of access points to the circuitry and software. So far I have improved the SSB module, experimented with better xtal filters, built my own auto antenna switch, built a keypad to separate some of the more used 'presses' and 'holds' and am just finishing a 2nd
receiver controller so my two K2s can chat to each other. Hi Bob, Care to share (maybe you have an I've missed it)???
