IMHO, and as a previous owner of (2) IC-735's,
and (1) IC-730 - I'd just bite the bullet and
send it off to ICOM AMERICAN in the State of
Washington, Service Dept.

It's old enough now, that I would think it might
be best to stay with Icom's Service Dept. and
their source of whatever parts they still can
get.  I think also - they will give you an on-line
quote idea - of what you're in store for.  And
I suspect they'll also tell you what they
can't do.
