You are correct David. You should have checked off a step where you confirm that nothing is installed in the space on the PCB for L15. (See page 21 of the Rev. D manual, left column)
Also it's listed again as a part that is not installed on page 41 just before you "button up" the amp. Wayne left it on the schematic diagram so curious builders could see what it was originally - an inductance in parallel with the secondary of transformer T2, between the power output transistors and the t/r switch circuit - and he added a note saying 'not used' next to it. I can't find any reference to L15 in the manual (Revision D), but when I've looked at the online manual to search for the part, it is there, but the on-line manual is Revision C. I'm assuming this was changed between Revision C and D ?? I just wanted to confirm this, as I have seem to an extra torroid (T50-10 black core). The manual says I should have 8, but I actually got 9.
