I'll be on for the full contest with my K2 #4941 at 100W. I tried the QRP
thing in the past and get tired of trying to reach stations which don't have
as nice a receiver as is in the K2 so they can't hear me. Plus I live in
kind of a hole and my antenna situation isn't too good so I figure a few
extra db of signal is a good thing.

The bad thing about 100W is that I come in loud and clear over the subwoofer
in our home theater. No movies this weekend. Problem solved. :-)

I'll be mostly on 40, 20, and 15 with a multiband dipole. If I get a chance
I'm going to temporarily toss an old trap dipole up in the air for 80m.

There are usually a few of us from IA on the air but not many so hopefully I
can help you out by giving you a new section.

My daughter's getting married over the weekend of the SSB contest so this
will be my only shot at SS this year.
