Jerry, The most likely answer is: You inadvertently changed the menu parameter for the sidetone source.
Enter the menu and scroll to 'ST L' - hold EDIT to edit the parameter, and then tap the DISPLAY button to toggle the sidetone source. Stop when you hear the sidetone and exit the menu. I have heard of at least 3 occurrances of this in the last week - are we having an epidemic of some kind? <G>.
