Hi Chris, Just outta curiosity, what does a tricked out Yaesu cost versus the K2? It's not a truly apples to apples comparison, but it gives one a feel for the "value".
The first place I put my effort is in the antennas, assuming you have a decent base rig. I'm betting, at least on QRP, the big difference in scores will be due to antennas and a second radio...
