KX-1 # 1632 Fired up for the first time today and made an immediate
contact on 20. Sounds excellent. I especially like the keyer. It
seems oddly easier to send with than my other rigs; has a nice rhythm to
it. This kit went together very smoothly. I enjoyed building it so
much that I ordered and just received a K-2. This will be my second
K-2. Some lapse of character caused me to sell #1920 a few years ago.
No I have to decide what additions to make to the KX-1. I'll start with
the tuner...
