I've been thinking of running a Beverage receive antenna to use with my K2 for 160-80m. I've heard that some rigs "front end" have been ruined using these because the radio's receiver isn't "turned-off" during transmit. I was wondering if my K2 (#5609) "turns off" the receiver during transmit ?
