OK last week Friday the tenth I made report that My basic K2 was completed and operating, well further progress. On Tuesday The Kpa100 was fired up and running Thursday night the sideband module was completed. With a little disappointment at first. Turned it on that night and threw the call out six or seven time to people calling CQ and no response. So I turned it off and went to bed got up in the morning and turned it on and through out a CQ and got an immediate response for a total of eight QSO's. I then built the KPA100 Friday night, made the DB9 cable Saturday morning and tuned it up packed it up and went to our radio club house. it the twenty four hours of sweepstakes it knocked out more than 280 contacts. There is no more better way to say it but. WOW the K2 is one hell of a radio!!!!!!!!!!!
