Sylvain, Yes there is an extract from the K2 manual that contain the alignment related parts of the manual. It is on my website http://w3fpr.qrpradio.com .
It was based on the Rev E manual, but is still valid for the Rev F manual. If you are looking for a 'shortcut' to alignment, that does not exist as far as I know. While I could create one, but it would be difficult to describe the mental gymnastics that I normally do when doing an alignment to determine if a particular measurement point or adjustment is within a normal range - that takes a lot more experience than just working from a list of steps. If you have that experience, you will be able to dig the relevant steps out of the document that is on my website. It is helpful to use the schematic to identify the part of the K2 that is being measured or adjusted, and once you can relate a particular adjustment to the normal signal flow, you will have come a long way toward developing your own procedure. 73, Don W3FPR > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, November 23, 2006 1:42 PM > To: Elecraft email > Subject: [Elecraft] Re-aligment > > > Hi All, > > I would like to know if there is a document with protocol of re > alignment of the k2 > > Thank you > > Sylvain > VE2SSL > K2 5096 _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
