Hello all! Well, we had a new bed delivered on Saturday so I had to take the old water-bed frame apart. As I started disassembly, it looked like I might use the old frame. I've been working on the old frame for the past three days and I now have a nice wrap-around bench. One leg is 7' x 2' and the other leg is 8' x 2'. I did run out of wood so I had to actually "buy" some plywood. Tomorrow I plan to install the L-table in my new shack. It's a bedroom downstairs in our bi-level house. I still have to install the white-laminated plywood over the top and on the sides and then put some trim on it. The entire bench cost me less than $100 and I now have 30 sq. feet of bench top! I even used the side supports as nice shelves.
My granddaughters 3 & 5 year-olds don't like the idea of less play space. But, I've been trying to get into that room for ten years now. First the daughters stayed there then the mother-in-law. Now the granddaughters use it for a play room. Tomorrow --- it will become the new WA3WSJ SHACK! 72, Ed,WA3WSJ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
