Long time ago (K2 SN 1028), building my ssb-brd, I had a similar trouble. After finishing the board, I had a diode left the manual did'nt mention. Finaly I found out, the board was revision B, but the manual revision A, or vice-versa. . I solder the left diode according to the PCB . And every think was OK.
