I can't imagine those small screws backing out on their own? No need to use lock-nut or such, on these screws. The only risk I saw on K2 # 54xx, was the chance of tightening them too much, and cracking the bessel plastic. Do you operate your K2, on a vibrating boat or something? Anything else loosening up?
