Fred, Remember that the RTTY filters are just a set of 4 extra filters - you can use them for whatever purpose you want - and it does not necessarily have to be data modes. If one wants a special set of filters for contesting (for instance), then by all means set them up that way. There is nothing special about the name RTTY mode, they are just another set of fiters. The unique characteristic og the RTTY filters is that they include settings for SSBA and SSBC menu entries that are independent of the settings used for SSB.
