I have been following this thread with great interest. I have a QRP K2 and would like to add an amplifier. I love the integration of the KPA100 and KAT100 but would like more power and no fan.
I would like 400 watts output, QSK without relays and no fan. The KPA800 seems interesting, but has features I don't need like SO2R and a price tag that is too high for me. I hope that Elecraft is considering a basic KPA400/KAT400 combination.
