I was attempting to order a rascal glx today to attempt to try some RTTY and PSK31 and the like. They were most rude and treated me like an idiot for calling them instead of emailing. I didn't see the note on their site to email for "tech support. I didn't really know what to ask anyway if I did email.
They kept asking "how is your mic connector configured?" Is it 8 Pin? (I knew it was 8 pin, but even after looking back at my manual I couldn't figure out exactly what to say as far as "how it was configured". I saw the chart showing what number connector did what. I wired it for the Heil Proset2 and that is what I am using. My question: what do I say the next time I'm asked (politely or not) How is my Mic configured?
