Jim, My KPA100 is the mounted as the top cover for my KAT100-2 in an EC2. It is very easy to do and works well. All of the connections that would be made between the KPA100 and the K2 are present in the KAT100, almost as though it was designed to be configured this way.
Your K2 will need a KIO2 module, and a you will need to make a short BNC to BNC coax cable to connect the K2 ANTENNTA output to the RF IN on the KPA100/KAT100-2 combination.
