Don, I just upgraded my firmware from 2.01 to 2.04 (along with the accompanying io upgrade) on my K2 sn 1309. I didn't do a good job of saving my settings, so I'm out of cal. I've gone through all possible (I think) kinds of calibration methods. What is the correct method? My main concern is SSB. I believe my CW cal is good as I've tracked and verified it with the spectrum analyzer. I have four methods of cal that I've saved from the past. They seem to all be different. Which is correct? The one that seems to give the best on air results is the one on the SSB adapter instructions. Is that one correct? The result sounds good to me (but I'm listening to myself) but on air reports say that it sounds constricted (I'm wondering if it's the heil hc4 cartridge). One other thing, is it possible that the firmware upgrade would have affected the carrier null? It seems that it did. I believe I have that under control. All of my use is through transverters on VHF and UHF frequencies. Will you be on for the upcoming VHF Sweepstakes? Thanks, Phil
