Fred,
I have used the JRC ST-3 headphones for over 10 years now (from my SWL days) and they are still the most comfortable (physical and audio) I have ever used. The 600 ohm impedance is not a problem with my K1 or my Yaesu FT-920. http://www.eham.net/reviews/detail/404 Regards, Ken S. - N4OI ------------------------------ Message: 19 Date: Tue, 16 Jan 2007 16:43:57 -0800 (PST) From: "Fred (FL)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Elecraft] Quality Ham Headphones? To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Can anyone suggest reasonably costing plain-vanilla earphones for ham use? What 2007 headphones are available out there - be it WMart, RShack, or Bose? What quality, not WWII vintage, earphones are good performers for K2, IC-706MKIIG, or IC-7000 type ham rigs? I'm not searching for Western Electric WWII headphones. I suspect there is one or 2 models out there, that we can all afford. What impedance am I looking for? Thanks, Fred, FL _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr.
