I read the review. Yes the alignment accuracy and drifting is a fact. But I keep in mind that the design is simple and must stay simple if we want to do service in it. Yes with more microcontroller and recent gears, it will be better... but how much more $$$
Also, I'm using it as my main rig, and I don't see it as a problem either. I had a few years ago a TS-2000 that blew up. I waited a month to get it back. My last ussue with the K2 took me a day to solve with parts on local store. I am the kind of guy who is always trying to get the more out of what I own... I'm doing the same thing with all my Elecraft gears.... This review is not a concern for me.
