Just wanted to thank whoever (Don?) mentioned using a heated steel pin to clean out plated through holes. I'm using a small T-pin heated by a soldering iron. It's just the right size for the holes in the K2 boards I've had to repair.
I clean out as much solder as possible with solderwick then with a fresh blob of solder on the iron, heat the pin and give it a slight push.
