I tried a couple of alternate tuning knobs on my K2. I tired using the Knob from my Ten Tec Argo V, I think the shaft size was different or poor aesthetics, it was a while ago and I don't remember exactly, I just know that it did not work.
Then I tried a FT 100 knob for a while and I needed to add extra felt behind the knob to keep it from being too sensitive. I ordered the knob directly from Vertex Standard USA Customer service. It worked nice, looked pretty, but it just kind of messed with my perfect Elecraft Mojo so I sold it. Finally I went back to my original K2 knob and added the Finger Dimple. The pictures and description on the Elecraft web site do not do justice to this great little inexpensive addition.
