Scott, We talked yesterday about a problem I have with subject kit. When I did the smoke test(before installing it in the K1)I did get 12 volts on the Digital VOM. I then tried to remove the batteries and found one batt to be too hot to handle. Out of curiosity I remeasured the voltage and got 11 volts. When the battery in question cooled down I removed it and noted it's casing was separated near the bottom of the batt. My first thought was that I had installed the diode improperly, thus my call to you. There is no rush to get this done. If you like I could remove the switch, diode and wiring harness and send all to you to examine. 72/73, John
