Subject: Re: AGC Mod S-Meter Date: March 7, 2007 07:35 pm From: "Dave White" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hi Darrell: I chose the values for the S Meter voltage feed to be the most accurate; S1 with 1uv and S9 with 50uv. It also allowed full range of the S Meter as the RF gain control was rotated through its range. Its possible that other values would work as well. As to the C3 issue, I was using a REV D board (before the POT was installed in R1), and thus the cct traces on my Control board might have been different. The attachment position of C3 is not critical - as it is a DC cct and C3 is used for suppression; it has no other affect. You might want to pass this information on to the Reflector, as I no longer have my K2 and am not receiving the digests any longer. I'm glad the MOD is working out for you.
