It is a switching supply, Bob, but with an unusual twist.  It includes an
ultra-capacitor to handle peak load currents.  That is how they can deliver
100W for intermittent duty cycle applications such as CW and SSB.  In steady
state applications such as RTTY it is probably good for perhaps 60 W output.
Output voltage is 13.8 V, which is of course ideal for ham gear.  Check
their web site for more detail.   I have heard absolutely no RF noise even
with it sitting right next to a rig.
