I am certain that mic *CAN* be made to work, but it will likely require some re-wiring inside the mic housing itself. The Up/Dwn buttons and the keyboard are probably decoded by detecting various voltage levels in the original design - you would have to convert the Up/Dwn buttons to simple switches to ground to make use of them with the K2. The schematic will be a necessity to determine just what to do with it.

The prime question: does anyone have a short answer for me, if this little electret mike, with up/dwn buttons, keyboard, PTT switch, will work with my K2?
