Hello all
I have my paddle & a computer interface for keying CW connected as per the
manual (incl 2 diodes, cathodes at the key-line, anodes at dit & dah
terminals).
The interface is a simple switch (opto coupler 4N37) driven by DTR (RTS is
in use by KIO2).
The problem is that I can't get proper keying from the computer unless the
K2 is put in "Inp=Hand" mode.
Doing that the paddle is useless(only one paddle is active).
Setting back to padln - the paddle works great but than keying from the
computer is as if pressing both dit & dah paddles. (Makes perfect sense to
me because both diodes are pulled low).
I think the manual says that having an arrangement such as mine is
possible because of some auto detecting done by the firmware, but that's
not working here.
Firmware is 2.04p, IO is 1.09.
Any ideas?
