I used to own a Yaesu FT-897.
Glad you sold it so you can buy a K3 :-)
Since I am a certifiable... I mean, certified 6M nut, I would sure like to know
if the K3 can do this, or if not, if it can be made to do this with just
firmware changes.
The command structure is in place in the DSP to support Tx and Rx modes
being completely different. The architecture definitely supports it.
Not sure if it is on the current list for firmware, but we'll put it in
the suggestion queue if it isn't there already!
Thank you for the comments, Bill. We want the K3 to be your radio of
choice for 6M so you can sell your old Swan 250 (or Thor VI)...
