There appear to be a number of Kenwood connections described at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/rg4wpw/date.html
i.e. MC-42S, MC-43 & MC-47 have inner on 7 and shield on 1, but MC-44 shows it the other way around. I was going to wait until I got my K3, but would be nice to know asap if my unmodified Heil HM-10 will work without mod.
