OK, I'm not a sideband operator generally, so don't have a feel for this. The filter issues have been clarified and available filters have been added to the list since I filled out m order form.
I note that there is now a 2.1kHz 8 pole filter on the order form. It seems to me that this would be a very good default SSB filter, replacing the 2.7kHz or 2.8 kHz filters.
