OK, well the amplifier instructions simply state that the phono socket (on the 811), when earthed by the transceiver, puts the amplifier into TX mode. The amp does have an ALC socket but I guess I can ignore that. So my question is, when I key the KPA100 via the K2, will the key output send a ground to the amp PTT input?
Sorry to sound so thick, I have not dealt with large amps before.
