Having just finished the build of K2 #6100 with a KSB2 (installed) and
KNB2 (yet to install), I am looking at my next options. I plan to add
a KPA100, KDSP2, and KAT100, and although I am enjoying the build
process, another way to acquire these (at a potential savings) would be
prebuilt. That said, I don't know whether it is in light of the K3
rage (i.e., selling off K2's to fund K3's), or whether this is normal
turnover, but I am seeing these optional items come up for sale both
here and on Ebay. Nevertheless, I don't know whether a used, prebuilt
KPA100 or KDSP2 would be of use to me (as is), unless I had the
modifications to my Control board, etc., and I don't see any upgrade
kits/parts listed on the Elecraft site for this type of addition. I am
guessing that it would be possible to get the needed parts from
Elecraft (and elsewhere), but wanted to ask.....
What are the issues regarding the addition of such prebuilt options as
the KPA100 and KDSP2?

P.S. I couldn't imagine parting with a beloved K2 (to fund a K3) - why
not kill two birds with one stone and sell off the XYL ;->
