In some instances, Ten Tec will send out or accept a
board from a customer to solve a problem. Most often,
they want to see the entire radio, thus, the world
renowned service center. 

Wondering if Elecraft's policy will be more liberal
with respect to mailing modules as a solution, or will
be more inclined to sell onsite service for the entire
radio? 

With K2's I never came close to having a problem I
could not solve at home and I don't have anything more
here than the tools I used to build the kits.
