Hi Ken,
When I am running I agree with you. But when I am chasing someone I find QSK
to be very helpful. Sometimes you can work someone and exchange reports
while someone without QSK is still calling and not realizing what just
happened.

1st place NW Division, many CW SS wins, etc.

My K2's works break-in fine, BUT, I can't imagine the nerve-
wracking, mind-numbing use of full break-in for a contest! Wow!  
I suppose one might hear an "intruder" on one's frequency, but 
most of us would just plod along and ignore him ... (:-))  Can't 
think of much else gained by full break-in.

As Bill says ... different strokes.  (:-))
