K2 #6113 was born yesterday evening. It works great! I'll be making my first
contact with it this weekend. I spent some time going through the operating
manual and listening last night. I've already built the SSB module but, I may
not install it since I have another rig to work SSB with and I work mostly CW
anyway.
I really like the tone and receive quality. The features are outstanding and
it seems very easy to navigate. It was a great experience building it and
wasn't difficult at all. If anyone is considering building one, I would say
go for it. Some say that it is expensive but, that's if you compare it to
other rigs. What sets it apart is the quality and performance which you may
not get is other rigs costing much more. That's just my opinion, of course.
I'm really looking forward to operating with K2.
