On K2 #5943, my usual startup noises were as follows: clicking of all the relays resetting, followed immediately by some relays switching again. Recently I took the cover off, disconnecting all of the wires, and reconnected everything. Now my power-on is as follows: relays resetting, short tone emitted from speaker, some relays switching, stutter in audio, normal. Installed options are KAT2 and KBT2. Everything looks right and I'm fairly certain the KAT2 control cable is fully connected because the menu options do appear. Any ideas? -- Immanuel Kant but Kubla Khan.
