I'm not sure where you mean by N.W. Oregon but the Valley Radio Club of Eugene will have an operation. If you're interested just ask on the 146.72 (W7PXL) repeater.
Whenever I've been on the road over field day, I've just asked around on the local repeaters and always found a FD group to operate with. (CW operators are always welcome) Steve ..
