An old vauxhall will get you from A to B , but wouldn't it be nice to have
some fun getting there?
It's seldom about needs , it's more what you can afford and want to do.
If it was only the A to B needs I still would have my old tentec triton 1.
So the question " why buy a K3 " would rather be : 1. Can you afford it? 2.
Do you want it?
If yes to both you would have a new rig on your desk maybe late october.

Well, I certainly hear the difference :-)
PS Does anyone know if the K3 will have much stronger audio than the K2?
I don't know if you mean more AF power capability, or more overall gain so
a given signal sounds stronger. K3 has both.
