Yes, the current firmware decodes CW, RTTY and PSK in the VFO-B display area. However, it is just the first pass implementation and more tweaking and functionality is on the way. This is a great feature (coupled with the upcoming DATA mode encoding from CW keying) for DATA mode QSOs using just the radio without a computer. However, for serious contesting or DXpeditions, an interfaced PC is desirable.
