Good Evening,
First: I need to make a correction to last week's list. Instead of having K4ZM join us on 40 meters it was K9ZTV - Kent - MO - KX1 - 1354 who checked in. I copied ?9ZM twice but could not catch the entire call. I did have a name and a state so I should have been able to perform the back calculation to determine the call. Work called me away before I could do so. Sorry Kent. I spent part of today, as well as a few hours over the last few days, to do some catching up. I finally have my logbook current. I am now in August; August of 2005 that is! Yes, there is a stack of paper with all of my notes but they are slowly getting into the logbooks. Pat was bugging me about this but I was almost a year behind in 2005. I have since stacked the pile much deeper. I am hoping to get into 2006 soon and be up to date by the end of 2007. I told her I would spend a few hours each week doing so. I am trying to keep that promise ;) Propagation has not been too good this week. I was able to work the Fox from New Hampshire very well though. But as far as Oklahoma City? No! It seems there is an RF sapping cloud between us. Hopefully the solar wind will cause it to move. Speaking of moving: Sam did not do so today; he stayed on the porch sleeping unless I convinced him he had something nice to eat. But as soon as it was gone he was back out on the porch to rest. The three deer in the front yard were not able to wake him. Neither was the squirrel who ran across the porch to drink from the two basins of water I have out. When I locked the door for an hour long hike I don't think he even glanced at me. We both enjoyed a pleasant day. The temperature rose to about 70 and will fall into the low 50s tonight.

 Tomorrow:

1) Hail signs (first letter or two of the suffix of your call)
2) NCS help (as well as QSP/QNP <relay> help)

   Please join us:

Sunday 2300z (Sunday 4 PM PDT) 14050 kHz
Monday 0200z (Sunday 7 PM PDT) 7045 kHz

   73,
          Kevin. KD5ONS
