I would think the other concern/monitor might be the dog....as I understand the fences, the dog receives a shock from the collar when it gets too close/goes over the boundry line created by the fence.

If your transmitted signal sets off the collar, the dog will be unhappy.

Not sure what would make the dog the unhappiest, SSB or CW.
